About Us
Why was the LPM created?
The purpose of the LPM organization is:

to provide social, emotional, and educational support to the members and their families;

to educate the general public and create awareness within the public eye;

to provide medical knowledge and advice about people with short stature;
-
to refer members to various community services and government agencies for additional
support;
-
to enhance the life opportunities for all little persons in Manitoba.
The LPM organization was established in Winnipeg in 1981. The membership
consists of persons of short stature, their immediate family and friends
throughout Manitoba.
