My name is Connie, and I am the President of the Little People of Manitoba (LPM) Organization. The LPM has always been a part of my life. I became a member in 1984 and have seen the group go through many changes and improvements. We are presently reaching out to more members and potential members across Manitoba with the Awareness Program that was created in 2005. The program was designed to educate the general public of all ages about little people and the adaptations that are often necessary in every day life.
The LPM is a family and friends oriented group. There are many people in the organization who know and understand living the life of a little person or have a child, or relative that is a little person. We are a small group with big hearts. Everyone is welcome!
